It's all over!

Well, it's all over! The A4 Draw prize draw took place at the RK Burt gallery yesterday, where the lucky winners were picked at random. The winning ticket numbers have been listed next to the pieces below - congratulations if you won! We'll be getting the prizes in the post on Monday.

All of us students from South Essex College would like to say a couple of massive Thank Yous. Firstly to all our contributors, as without them The A4 Draw would not have been possible! We really appreciate your generosity, and we ended up with such a wonderful mix of pieces up for grabs.

Secondly we'd like to thank every one of you who bought a ticket. We've been so, so pleased with the reaction The A4 Draw received, and every ticket bought has helped us to raise some much-needed money to fund our graduate exhibitions this summer.

Thank you all for your support - it's been fun!

Last day!

Today is the last day to get your A4 Draw tickets, from the Folksy shop!

Tomorrow we will draw the names out of the hat to see which lucky people win the prizes (and there's over 25 pieces to be won, so you stand a good chance!).

If you fancy coming down to the RK Burt Gallery in London at 1pm tomorrow (Friday 12th March), you can see all the pieces up for grabs, and more importantly see who wins!

We'll update the blog with the winning ticket numbers, and put the prizes in the post ASAP.

Good luck, and thanks again for your support!

The Private view

It was the private view of the Forcing Chance exhibition yesterday, where The A4 Draw pieces are on display until the prize draw on Friday 12th March. It was a good day!

The A4 Draw tickets are on sale until Thursday 11th March, available at the exhibition or from our Folksy shop. By buying a ticket for £4 you're entered in to the prize draw, where you can win a piece of art by artists such as Rob Ryan, Melvin Galapon, Gemma Correll, Emma Dibben and many many more, as well as pieces by BA Graphic Design students from South Essex College.

If you fancy coming down to see all the prizes up for grabs, the exhibition is on Monday 8th - Friday 12th March, 10:30am - 5pm, at the RK Burt Gallery, 57 Union Street, London, SE1 1SG.

PS - Thank you to It's Nice That & Creative Review for your plugs on Twitter, and to BBC Essex Radio for the interview - we really appreciate the support!

The exhibition

Today we've been setting up the gallery space for the exhibition which starts this Friday!

All pieces contributed to The A4 Draw are on display, along side work produced by us BA (Hons) Graphic Design students from South Essex College. It's going to be a great way to celebrate The A4 Draw project, which was set up to raise money to fund our graduate shows this summer.

On the final day of the exhibition (Friday 12th March) we will draw the A4 Draw winners at random and find out which lucky people have won the artworks! Tickets are on sale until then, from the Folksy shop, and at the gallery.

Right, we have details of the prize draw to share with you!

Our BA (Hons) Graphic Design class will be holding an exhibition at the RK Burt Gallery in London from the 8th - 12th March. It will be showcasing the work produced in response to a brief set by Gustavo Fernandez of Why Not Associates.

We're also hoping to display the work contributed to The A4 Draw throughout the exhibition, and the prize draw will take place on the final day, the 12th March. Tickets will be available during the exhibition, too.

This means tickets are on sale until 11th March, so buy yours while you can!

Update

A couple more contributions have been added to The A4 Draw - there's now 19 pieces of work to be won! In the list of works you can now find a stitched piece by Evelin Kasikov, and a screenprinted typographic piece by David Ottley, which folds out to an A1 poster.

Thanks again to everyone who's bought a ticket so far. There's only a week or so left to buy a ticket, so if you've not done so yet, they can be bought for £4 from our Folksy shop!

We should be able to confirm details about the prize draw next week, so check back for more updates...
